Tracking
Description
Track cart locations and pace-of-play from any PC or Mac connected to the internet. Full-screen map display clearly shows cart locations. Includes a sidebar containing a streaming data display (like market quotes) showing cart numbers, location, and pace. Color-coding highlights trouble spots instantly. Click on a cart icon for instant messaging.
Schematic Map Option
Description
Schematic maps are the utmost in clarity. Some aerial imagery is OK – much is not, or non-existent. And worse still – prohibitively expensive. None of it stands out on a computer screen (or a cart display) like a carefully-rendered course schematic. We will create a map of your course which can be used in your computer and tablet tracking displays (including our unique mobile tracking feature), and also in your customer’s Android device displays. Unlike Google satellite imagery, our maps can be cached in Android devices for instant retreival and no network data usage cost.
Tracking and Pace-of-Play
Description
Spot trends and zero in on trouble spots instantly. Display location and pace data (streaming – like stock market quotes) on any PC or Mac for up to three courses on one screen.
Pace can also be tracked on any smartphone (or even a standard cell phone) with a browser. Display shows group location, cart numbers, and pace-of-play status. Pace is color-coded to highlight current and potential slow play (threshold values can be set by the proshop). Click on a Group Number and send a message to the group, or to an individual cart, or to all carts.
Cart Display
Description
Yardages (to the front, center, and back of the green), pace-of-play, and a clear schematic map showing the cart location and distance to hazards and lay-up points.
No user interaction is required (except to press OK after reading a message). No messing with a cart computer. No frustration and no unnecessary interruptions to the pace-of-play.

Pace-of-Play

Mobile Pace-of-Play Status
Description
Keep your marshals on par with the course status. Spot trends and zero in on trouble spots instantly. Runs on any smartphone or even an inexpensive cell phone with a browser. Display shows group location, cart numbers, and pace-of-play. Updated every time the browser is refreshed. Pace is color-coded to highlight current and potential slow play (threshold values can be set by the proshop). How much more effective would your marshals and proshop staff be with real-time pace-of-play information like this?
Mobile Tracking
Description
Use an Android device to track all carts – on a digital map – just like a desktop computer. Our new Mobile Tracking continuously updates every 10 seconds on a tablet, or even a smartphone, for the ultimate in mobile course management. A unique “heads up” color-coded text overlay keeps you current. Clicking a cart icon shows everything in a popup. Messaging is fully implemented – to each cart, all carts, or to all carts in a group.
Mobile Messaging
Description
Send messages to one cart, all carts, or all carts in a group, from an Android device – or from your Control Panel. Use for personal messages, pick-up-the-pace (PUP) messages, weather alerts, notices, tournament updates, promos, etc.
autoPUP Messaging
Description
Unique to On-Pace GPS – sending automatic “Pick Up the Pace” (PUP) messages to slow groups – this feature is designed not to harass players. It’s smart enough not to send a message if there there is no room in front. Politely asks players to close the gap only if it exists. You control the pace threshold and other variables. AutoPUP can be toggled on and off and there is a Do-Not-Disturb feature for individual carts.
Easy to Use
Description
Ease-of-use, for both player and pro, was a prime design consideration. Whether it’s course mapping and pace-of-play adjustments from the control panel, or course selection, shotgun starts and cross-overs (split tees) from the simplified cart display – it’s all included – and easy to use. For the player, there’s no computer interaction required. No wasted time – and no frustration.
Extremely Cost-effective
Description
Designed for non-proprietary Android hardware and software, On-Pace Technologies was the first company to develop and deploy a large-scale fleet tracking and pace-of-play application exclusively for the Android platform. By leveraging Android hardware – with built-in displays, GPS, communications, and networking – deployment costs are significantly reduced. Combined with software developed by computer experts led by golf industry insiders, the On-Pace GPS value proposition is hard to beat.
Control Panel
Description
Private control panel access to all functions, reports and settings. Access large-format tracking and pace-of-play displays, with popup messaging to each cart, all carts, or all carts in a group. Send weather alerts, notices, promos, etc. to all carts instantly. Runs on any PC or Mac in the proshop, office, or anywhere.
Remote Database Server
Description
For storing waypoints, green locations, and hazards. All data processing is based on our server which is connected directly by a fiber-optic link to the internet. By centralizing your data like this we can ensure its security and easily perform backups and any periodic maintenance that may be required.
You have no computer programs to maintain. In fact, no local computer is even required if mobile, color-coded pace-of-play status (cellphone, smartphone, or tablet) is all you need.
Android
Description
Non-proprietary Android hardware and operating system – reduces deployment costs. Android is a java-based open-source platform supported by Google and running as a layer on top of Linux – the main engine of the internet. On-Pace Technologies was the first company to develop and deploy a large-scale cart fleet tracking and pace-of-play application exclusively for the Android platform.
Course Database
Description
Mapping of the waypoints, green Locations, and hazards – we do it all for you. Afterwards, you can tweak them if you want, or if the course layout changes. Everything resides on our remote server which is directly connected to the internet. Centralizing your data like this ensures its security and allows us to easily perform backups and any periodic maintenance that may be required.
Reporting
Description
Daily and monthly pace-of-play and cart usage reports. Available from your private control panel on our server. If you have any unique reporting needs, we will work with you to get what you want.
Schematic Map Display
Description
We use schematic maps for clarity. Some satellite imagery is OK – much is not, or non-existent. None of it stands out on a computer screen (or a cart display) like a carefully-rendered course schematic. We create a 9-hole map of your course for each starter kit, and finish the rest of your course(s) when a decision is made to roll out the fleet.
Hole Sponsorships
Description
Advertising for extra revenue from local or in-house advertising. Activate on-tee advertising and download ads to the cart display. The control panel lets you list all your current ads and upload new ads to the server. In some cases, ad revenue can easily cover the cost of the entire system! Contact us for more information. Two Versions
Description
Available in two versions that look identical to the golfer, one designed for remote tracking – another for no tracking.
If you envision a smart-looking cart display with all the key yardage information a golfer needs plus a pace-of-play status display (a great help for your on-course staff when interacting with slow players), then the GPS/LITE version is all you need.
If you want all this plus a complete remote (and mobile) tracking and messaging system, then go for the GPS/PRO version.
